Mrs. Elizabeth Bricker serves as Principal of St. William the Abbot School, where students are “guided by faith and inspired to excel.” She began her tenure at St. William the Abbot School in 2016, bringing a wealth of experience in Catholic education, having previously spent eleven years at Our Lady Queen of Apostles School in Center Moriches as both teacher and administrator. During her time there, she taught Pre-Kindergarten, 5th grade, 8th grade, and Middle School Social Studies, while also serving as Assistant Principal.
A product of Catholic schools herself, Mrs. Bricker attended St. Martin of Tours Elementary School and St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the School of Risk Management and Insurance at St. John’s University and began her career as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter in Manhattan, where she worked for ten years. She felt called to education and pursued a Master’s Degree in Education, and later earned a second Master’s Degree in Catholic School Leadership and Administration from Fordham University. She is certified in New York State for Elementary Education and School Building Leadership.
A parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr in Sayville, Mrs. Bricker served as a catechist and is a recipient of the St. Pius X Award for ten years of service.
She is humbled and honored to lead the vibrant, faith-filled community of St. William the Abbot School, where she works alongside passionate educators, supportive families, and exceptional students to ensure a tradition of faith, excellence, and community.
